Scott M. Iannuccilli is a healthcare quality, compliance, and data validation leader with more than 25 years of experience helping health plans, PBMs, pharmacies, and healthcare organizations improve data integrity, strengthen audit readiness, and navigate complex regulatory requirements.
As Principal, Practice Lead, and Chief Technology Officer at HealthSpective, Scott leads the development of the firm's data validation methodologies, quality management solutions, and audit technologies. He is responsible for designing scalable processes that transform complex regulatory requirements into practical, repeatable, and defensible compliance programs.
Scott's career spans clinical care, healthcare operations, client service, product management, and consulting. Prior to HealthSpective, he held leadership positions with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, CVS Caremark, OptumRx, and McKesson, where he developed extensive expertise in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, pharmacy operations, PBM programs, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Drawing on a foundation that began as an Army Medic in the Rhode Island Army National Guard, Scott brings a unique ability to connect clinical workflows, operational realities, regulatory requirements, and technology solutions. He has led or supported more than 100 healthcare audits and validations, including Medicare Advantage Data Validation (MADV), RADV, Independent Validation Auditor (IVA), URAC® Accreditation Data Validation, HEDIS®, and pharmacy quality reviews.
A self-described data geek, Scott is the driving force behind HealthSpective's proprietary audit and validation platform. He combines deep healthcare operations experience with a passion for data integrity, creating innovative tools and solutions that simplify compliance, improve transparency, and deliver defensible results. Under his leadership, HealthSpective has developed technology that streamlines data collection, validation, census review, process documentation, and quality oversight, helping organizations reduce audit risk while improving operational efficiency.
Scott is particularly passionate about helping organizations move beyond audit preparation and toward sustainable quality management practices that improve accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the year—not just during validation season.
